4" Brim  w/ Binding

Shown with:

Officer cords $20

Cross sabers w/ #7  $10

Shown is as worn by officers of Custer's 7th Cavalry.  Enlisted troops had the yellow tasseled cord up to about 1872, and later the acorns.

You may order regimental numbers 1 through 9 at $3.00 and 10 or so for $6.00.  You can  choose crossed cannons for artillery.  We have the hunting horn for pre-1875 infantry or cross rifles for 1875 and later.  All officers wore the same black and gold cords with all gold for generals.  We have, of course, yellow for cavalry, blue for infantry, and red for artillery.

The military issued hat was in the color black. However, officers bought their own hats and were often at times lighter in color
