Did you know that the man we knew as Roy Rogers was actually Silvester
Sly? Not an appropriate name for the King of The Cowboys. At one point
Silvester went to the movie studio and asked for a bigger piece of the
profits but the studio executive said no. Silvester threatened to go to
another studio. The executive said go ahead but the studio owns the
name "Roy Rogers" and just how well did he expect to do as Silvester
Sly. Well, Silvester tried but sure enough he failed without the name Roy
Rogers that he had made famous. Silvester went back to the studio and
made many more Roy Rogers' movies. He did well but not as well as if his
name was actually Roy Rogers.
